As well as providing three additional hot-shoe mounts, the HB-B1 Hot-Bloc features an NP-F battery fitting and two power outputs. This allows the user to both mount and power on-board equipment. A rear mounted DC input also means mounted equipment can be powered from an external power-source.

The Hawk-Woods APD Power Distribution Adaptor provides a massive amount of power from industry standard NP batteries.
Designed as a convenient alternative to a battery box, or similar heavy duty power source, the APD uses up to 6 NP1s and provides 12V regulated outputs via four female XLR's and four Hirose sockets which are switched in pairs.
The power potential with this piece of equipment is phenomenal; if six Hawk-Woods NP70 batteries are inserted, there is 420 Watts of available power.
