The MKH 416 is a short gun interference tube microphone. Its excellent directivity and compact design, high consonant articulation and feedback rejection make the MKH 416 a superb all-round microphone for film, radio and television, especially for outside broadcast applications.

MKH418P48
The latest addition to the MKH range, the 418 is a phantom powered M.S microphone with a 5 pin XLR. It's basically a 416 with a figure of 8 capsule built in so it's just a little bigger. If you already have an MKH60 it will fit in the same Rycote windshield - otherwise you can order one below and don't forget your 5 pin XLR cables.
