This is a clever little kit that really makes the most of the lovely MKH8000 range from Sennheiser.

The MKH8050 is a Super Cardioid microphone that gives superb off-axis rejection and crystal clear sound. We have bundled it with a Rycote Mono Extended Ball Gag and Windjammer and a very special Connbox.

And this is where the clever bit comes in, the analogue XLR module for the MKH 8000 range is just an XLR with a thread adapter, all the electronics are within the capsule. So, the clever folks at Rycote have made a Connbox for the MKH 8000 range in partnership with Sennheiser reducing the weight of the microphone, thus making the suspension that much more effective!

This package bundles the microphone in the Extended Ball Gag allowing room for the MZF 8000 filter/attenuator which is supllied.

A Windjammer is included for working out doors.

So what you have is a kit that gives the Schoeps a run for its money. It sounds crisp and clear, is exceptionally low noise, is light weight and is perfect for those really long days working with a pole indoors or out.

This is the new Dual Diversity receiver from Audio Ltd, supplied with 2 x Envoy En2 PRO Transmitters with 2 x Tram TR50 mics with multipin connectors, with the usual Tram clips etc.

There are a range of interchangeable capsules for use with the Sennheiser K6 power unit and it forms the basis of a very flexible system. The package here includes the general purpose ME66 short gun capsule which meets most peoples needs but please give me a call to talk about the other options. The kit contains:- K6/ME66, Rycote Softie windshield, mount and pistol grip, as options add boompole and 5m cable. To use this microphone into a minijack input then you will need the transformer adaptor below.
