There is growing pressure now to capture rushes on location in stereo and even in some circumstances in surround... we hope that some of these items will help you do this. We have included some basic kit that outputs in M/S only to the lovely Neumann RSM191 with its useful matrix which allows you to switch between M/S and AB output. Also you can find the DPA 5100 which is a new addition in 2008 to the DPA family. This is a great surround sound microphone that is sold with portability in mind... I'm not sure if you would want to run arround with a surround sound microphone for fear of making your audience sick! Please let me know if you have used one in anger.
