The ATC (Audio + timecode) Umbilical carries stereo audio to the camera on balanced XLR, a 3.5mm stereo jack camera return to the 788T and a TC feed. This umbilical will allow you to send a stereo mix to the camera as you would normally do, but still use the 788T's multitrack capability to record the day's work to sperate multi-tracks... The resulting files are striped with matching timecode. The camera return will regrettably take up one or two inputs on the 788T, but these can be de-selected from the mix/multi-track (but you might have wanted to record your stereo mix to disk anyway).
