Rycote have manufactured a popular Lavalier Windjammer® for many years, but in recognition of the fact that most broadcasters today prefer their microphones to remain as unobtrusive as possible, the product has now been re-engineered to make it more discreet on camera.

The fur on the new Ristretto, as it is known, is shorter than that on Rycote® 's former Lavalier Windjammer®, but without any comparable loss in wind-noise reduction capability. Like the existing Rycote Lavalier Windjammer®, the Ristretto is secured to its microphone by a foam connector, but a rubber ring has now been added to both products for better grip and retention. Affordable and available in a choice of black, white and grey to suit broadcasters' requirements.

These are from Rycote and they are great! A disposable mounting system for personal microphones designed to minimise clothing rustle and low level wind noise. Each pack includes 30 adhesive pads and 30 soft fabric covers. The adhesive is suitable for use on fabrics & skin.

Like Undercovers, Overcovers are a semi-disposable mounting & windshield system for personal microphones. Supplied with 3 sheets of the same double-sided adhesive pads as the Undercovers and 6 reuseable fur covers - 2 of each colour - black, grey and white.

The Duck is a breakthrough waterproof roof for the Modular Windshield and S-Series windshield systems. Ideal for use in static outside broadcasts such as sports stadia and golf courses, the Duck is designed to reduce rain noise and keep the microphone dry which can be particularly problematic during outdoor shoots.

The development team at Rycote has used a corrugated foam design to minimise polar distortion, allowing raindrops to disperse, and a waterproof inner lining which collects water before it noiselessly trickles out. The Duck is secured to the windshield with two Velcro straps.

Suitable for Modular Windshield WS3 & WS4, with or without Windjammer fitted and S-series S300 & S330 kits.
