The very popular Sanken COS-11 is a miniature omni directional lavalier microphone widely used in T.V and theatre applications. This 11D BP model has a 3m cable and is fitted with an XLR adaptor for powering via 48V phantom or an AA cell. All models are available in grey, black or beige and are supplied complete with standard accessories: croc. clip, metal windshield and rubber mount.

Very small cardioid, boundary layer mic. Although measuring only 32mm in diameter and 12mm in height the CUB-01 provides excellent sound quality and can be used in situations where it is difficult to use other types, eg. taped to a car ceiling. XLR connector, phantom power, available in grey or beige.

This microphone from Sanken is a small and light mono short gun. In common with other Sanken designs it maintains its directional characteristics down to a lower frequency than other widely used gun mics. It also has very little rear lobe sensitivity so will be very useful in situations with high ambient noise. We are quite impressed with this mic. The CS-3e is a very directional shotgun microphone which maintains its directional characteristics across a wide frequency range. It can therefore often be used even in difficult situations with high levels of ambient noise.

The CSS-5 is a stereo shotgun microphone with 3 switchable operating modes. In mono mode it provides highly directional pick up across a wide freqency range. In Normal mode it provides the same centre characteristics but with accurate stereo information as well. The 3rd setting is wide stereo which increases the coverage angle to 140 deg. for recording of atmos. and sound effects.
