Cinela Pianissimo Windshield XLR3The Cinela Pianissimo is designed for the new generation of short shotgun microphones and it really does perform remarkably well. Both in terms of the shock mounting and the wind noise reduction the Cinela provides top quality professional performance. Pianissimo is suitable for microphones up to 21cm long and there is an option for a short or a long pile fur. Very light but strong two part cage, the lower and upper pieces clip together at six points and the aerodynamic ovoid shape provides the maximum internal volume around the microphone for high wind resistance. The primary covering is a 2mm thick 3D fabric to provide a very good first level wind protection for total acoustic transparency and the included furry cover enables use in high wind conditions. And for transport, the Pianissimo comes in an (almost) unbreakable transparent shell made from polycarbonate.
