This holds a mic just like a standard v clip but has an additional sensor on the back which is triggered by an actor speaking either too quietly or too loudly. When this happens a retractable 3rd pin pops out giving the actor a little scratch - or 'bite' if you will. The actor will soon learn to adjust their volume, providing perfect levels take after take. We are not monsters! You can control how far the pin comes out so for a first offender you can simply cause a slight scratch - but in particularly annoying cases you can ramp it up.
