ZAXCOM - NOMAD MULTITRACK RECORDERS

Another product that has escaped being added to our website is the Nomad range of recorders from Zaxcom. We have sold a few of these, and we get a lot of enquiries about them. We had a demo of one a couple of months ago, so we know a tiny bit more about them now than we did.

The Nomad is quite impressive, and Zaxcom seem to be quite ambitious with regards the new features they hope to add via software updates in the future.

The all-new lockit box from Ambient, the ACL204HD is in stock and ready to ship.

Don't miss out on the first batch, we don't expect them to be here for very long.

In the box you will find the ACL 204 itself, a BNC -> BNC Sync cable and a Lemo -> BNC LTC Out cable, a cover, instructions and Velcro.

We are now selling the PIX 240 from Sound Devices at the discounted price of £2175 - remember this price INCLUDES delivery via TNT to any mainland UK address.

The PIX is a HD Solid State recorder with HDMI and HD-SDI inputs which records in Apple ProRes or optionally in Avid DNxHD formats.

We are pleased to announce that we now sell the NAGRA range of recorders.

The latest digital recorders from Nagra are really what you would expect from this flagship company, they are the Rolls Royce of the audio world both in build and engineering!

We were given a demo of the kit by the chaps from Senhheiser recently, and, well, we havn't recovered yet... we are still taking the pills! ;-)

MICRON EXPLORER LCD SYSTEMS IN STOCK

The LCD systems from Micron have made it in stock sooner than expected. Some are on their way out to customers, but we have a couple spare and ready to ship with your choice of Tram or Cos 11 microphones.

The units ship with pre-programmed inter-mod free channel sets, and the LCD can be used to show battery remaining, audio level, RF strength, display name, frequency, setup etc.

They are 100 channel systems and can be tuned in 25KHz steps. And obviously, we are shipping these to work with TV Ch. 38 (the pre-programmed channels cover TV channels 38, 39, 40 and 41)

The Sennheiser MKH8050 Supercardioid capsule. MZF8000 Filter module, and a Rycote Mono Extended Ball Gag and Windjammer, with a very special Connbox that eliminates the need to use the XLR adaptor for the MKH makes all of this possible, keeping down the weight and size of the whole package of kit.

This gives the Schoeps a challenger for a light, discreet, very clean sounding, and easy to use mic to use in demanding situations on location.
