The Sound Devices MP-1 is a battery-powered single-channel microphone preamplifier designed for field production, radio, television and film applications. It provides up to 66 dB of gain, transformer-balanced input and output, selectable 12V / 48V phantom power, a high-pass filter and a built-in limiter in a compact rugged housing.
