Specialist finance for the media industry
Soundkit works with Medialease, a specialist asset-finance provider and credit broker with extensive experience across broadcast, film, television, cinema, professional AV and live events.
Medialease works with a panel of more than 30 lenders and can discuss a range of possible finance structures based on your equipment, business and commercial requirements.
Soundkit does not provide the finance itself. Any finance agreement will be arranged with Medialease and the relevant lender, subject to application and approval.
Tax and accounting treatment
The tax, VAT and accounting treatment of equipment finance depends on the type of agreement and your individual business circumstances.
Lease payments and outright equipment purchases may be treated differently for accounting and tax purposes. Soundkit and Medialease do not provide tax advice, so you should speak to your accountant or professional tax adviser before making a decision.
