Rycote 15cm Super Softie Windshield

This is a Super Softie Slip-on Windshield with the 3D-Tex material and open-cell foam suitable for shotgun microphones with slots no further than 15cm from the front of the mic and a diameter of 19-22mm. That's quite a lot of microphones actually! Including Schoeps CMIT5U, Mini CMIT and Super CMIT2, Audio-Technica AT897, Neumann KMR81, Rode NTG1, 2, 4, 4+, Sanken CS-1 and 2. See I told you.

Main Benefits:

Novel shape and 3D-Tex give greatly improved wind noise reduction compared to conventional "soft" windshields.

A true cavity design, with superb performance at extreme low frequencies (where wind noise is worst).

A rough-service windshield, robust enough for the most challenging news-gathering situations.

High immunity to rain-soaking, and maintains excellent acoustic transparency in almost all situations
