The Sanken CS-1e is a compact professional shotgun microphone for boom and camera work, combining sharp directionality with a body only 181.5mm long and 80g in weight.

Its 50Hz–20kHz response, high sensitivity and low 15dB-A self-noise make it a strong choice for dialogue, documentary, ENG and location recording where a full-length shotgun would be harder to position.
