The Sanken CSR-2 is a rear-rejection shotgun microphone designed for film, broadcast and location recording where unwanted sound arriving from behind the microphone is a persistent problem.
A three-capsule system combines line-microphone directivity at mid/high frequencies with dedicated rear rejection at low/mid frequencies, delivering focused dialogue in a 250mm, 170g body.
