The Sound Devices HX-3 is a portable headphone distribution amplifier designed to provide three high-quality stereo headphone feeds from line-level sources. Each headphone output has its own level control, peak LED and panel-mounted 1/4" connector, making it useful for film, TV, radio, music production, studio monitoring and field audio workflows.

It accepts balanced XLR line inputs or unbalanced 1/4" and 1/8" stereo inputs, and includes a loop output for connecting additional HX-3 units in series when more headphone feeds are required.
