The Audioroot uPRE MKII is a compact two-channel microphone preamp for professional field and music recording, combining high-gain analogue preamplification with a 24-bit digital output. Two electronically balanced mini-XLR microphone inputs offer a very wide -50dB to +80dB gain range, 48V phantom power and switchable 80Hz high-pass filtering.

Alongside its analogue stereo output, the uPRE MKII can output AES or SPDIF at sample rates up to 192kHz. Stereo linking and M/S decoding add useful routing flexibility, while battery or external DC powering keeps the unit practical for portable rigs.
