The K-Tek Avalon Aluminium KE89 7'6" Boom Pole is a 4-section professional boom pole from K-Tek's Avalon Aluminium range. Made from smooth black-anodised aluminium tubing, it provides a durable and cost-effective alternative to graphite for ENG, EFP, documentary, drama and general location-sound work.
The pole collapses to 2'5" (74cm) and extends to 7'6" (218cm). Avalon knurled collars and K-Tek's captive-collet locking system provide secure, quick telescopic adjustment, while the fixed headpiece terminates in a standard 3/8"-16 male thread for professional microphone suspensions and shockmounts.
Choose the uncabled KE89 for external cable routing or the KE89CC with an internal coiled cable and straight-exit male 3-pin XLR at the bottom.

Choose the Cabling Setup That Suits Your Rig
The uncabled version keeps weight and complexity down for external cable routing. Bottom-XLR versions route a coiled XLR internally and exit straight from the base. Where offered, the side-XLR version moves the male XLR to the side of the Delrin base for a lower-profile cable path.
Black-Anodised Aluminium
Quick, Secure Avalon Locking
Knurled collars and K-Tek's captive-collet locking design allow the telescopic sections to extend and collapse smoothly while locking securely during production.
