• Long-reach 5-section high-density graphite boom pole extending beyond 12 feet.
• Lightweight construction starts at approximately 602g for the uncabled version.
• Avalon knurled collars and captive-collet locking system provide secure telescopic adjustment.
• Choice of uncabled, internal coiled cable with bottom XLR, or internal coiled cable with side XLR.
Need help choosing?
Choose the KEG150 family when you regularly need more reach than an 8–9ft pole can provide. Uncabled keeps the pole at its lightest. Bottom XLR gives you internal cabling with a conventional straight exit, while Side XLR is useful when you want the recorder cable to leave the base at a right angle rather than underneath it.
The K-Tek Avalon Graphite KEG150 is a long-reach 5-section professional boom pole for location sound, ENG, EFP, drama and documentary work. Its high-density graphite construction keeps weight low for a pole that reaches beyond 12 feet, while retaining the stiffness required for professional microphone positioning.
Avalon knurled collars and K-Tek's captive-collet locking system provide secure section locking and quick deployment. The fixed headpiece terminates in a standard 3/8"-16 male thread for professional microphone suspensions and shockmounts.
The KEG150 is available uncabled, with an internal coiled XLR and straight bottom exit, or with an internal coiled XLR and side exit. The side-exit KEG150CCR extends slightly further to 12'7".

K-Tek Avalon Graphite KEG150 12'5" Boom Pole
£776.99
Graphite Construction for Professional Booming
Long Reach Without Excess Boom Weight
The KEG150 gives boom operators more than 12 feet of working reach while keeping the uncabled pole to around 602g. That makes it particularly useful when a shorter pole simply cannot place the microphone close enough.
Up to 12'7" Reach
Choose the XLR Exit That Fits Your Workflow
Factory-cabled versions route a coiled XLR lead internally. The KEG150CC exits straight from the bottom, while the KEG150CCR places the male 3-pin XLR at the side of the Delrin base.
High-Density Graphite
Avalon Captive-Collet Locking
Five telescopic sections use K-Tek's established Avalon locking architecture, combining knurled collars with a captive-collet system intended to lock securely and deploy quickly on set.
