The K-Tek Mighty Boom KP12 12' 6-Section Graphite Boom Pole is a professional six-section graphite boom pole from K-Tek's Mighty Boom / KlassicPro range. The removable headpiece makes the cabling system modular, allowing the pole to be reconfigured without soldering rather than committing the boom to one permanent cable arrangement.

Its wider graphite tubes are designed to increase stiffness and improve handling balance, while the revised captive-collet locking system uses thicker, smoother locking surfaces for more controlled extension. Oval grip divots and updated anodising improve collar feel, and the graphite sections are hand-burnished to help reduce transmitted handling noise.

The standard KP12 version is uncabled and runs from 37" / 0.94m to 12' / 3.66m. Choose the CCR version for an internal coiled XLR cable with a side-exit base, or the TA Sidekick version for an internal coiled cable terminating in an upward-facing XLR module designed for a plug-on wireless transmitter.

The Mighty Boom's removable headpiece is designed so compatible cable assemblies can be installed or removed without soldering. That makes it easier to adapt the same professional boom platform as your workflow changes.

Stiffer Six-Section Graphite Construction

K-Tek widened the graphite tubes and added a sixth section to improve stiffness and handling balance. The result is intended to give the boom operator quicker cueing and greater control of microphone placement.
