Pair of RAD-2 Hoops are reinforced replacement suspension hoops for Radius RAD shock mounts and compatible Radius windshield blimps, with five firmness options for tuning microphone isolation and support.

RAD-2 hoops use a 3mm reinforced top spine to support longer or front-heavy microphones and setups using slide-on wind protection. Choose from Extra Soft 55-Shore, Soft 62-Shore, Standard 72-Shore or Extra Firm 82-Shore options. The hoops fit all RAD shock mount top brackets; microphone clips are sold separately.

Choose the firmness to suit the microphone and load. Extra Soft 55-Shore gives the most compliant option, the two 62-Shore versions provide softer suspension, Standard 72-Shore is the balanced choice for most shotgun microphones, and Extra Firm 82-Shore adds support for heavier or longer microphones.

RAD-2 hoops add reinforced bracing along the top to reduce front sag when using longer microphones or adding slide-on wind protection.
