Puffer Urchin Lavalier Windshields combine short black synthetic fur with a built-in foam core for miniature 2–4mm lavaliers exposed to stronger outdoor wind.

The low-profile cover is approximately 35mm across and uses the same blue Stay-Put safety loop as the Urchin range. The foam core adds rigidity and another layer of wind protection, making the Puffer particularly useful for ENG interviews and exposed location dialogue.

Choose the Puffer when the lav will be exposed to more wind and you want the added protection of an integral foam layer without moving to a larger external windscreen. Choose the standard Urchin for a simpler fur-only setup, Mini Urchin for the smallest profile, or Large Hole Urchin for larger microphones.

Warranty

All Radius Windshields products purchased are covered by a 2-year guarantee, ensuring the product complies with the sales contract and is free from defects that existed at the time of delivery.

For help with a fault or warranty claim, please visit our Returns & Warranty page and fill out the warranty form. Soundkit will then help handle the warranty process with Deity on your behalf.

This manufacturer warranty does not cover misuse, accidental damage, unauthorised modification, improper storage, incorrect operation or normal wear-and-tear items such as cables and accessories.
