The Sanken CUB-01 is a miniature cardioid boundary microphone for discreet dialogue and ambience recording on tables, sets, stages and inside vehicles.

Its 32.5mm capsule housing is easy to conceal while Sanken’s square-capsule design delivers a fuller, more natural sound than its small size suggests. Choose the 48V XLR version for conventional recorder/mixer inputs or the unterminated PT version for custom transmitter termination.

Important Notes

• XLR and PT versions are electrically different — choose the connection for the equipment you will use.
• XLR variants use the supplied/in-line 48V interface and standard 3-pin XLR output.
• PT variants are unterminated pigtails intended for custom wiring and use approximately 3–14V bias; they are not plug-and-play XLR microphones.
• Confirm transmitter wiring and powering before terminating a PT version.
