The Schoeps MK 21 is a wide cardioid Colette capsule that combines much of an omnidirectional capsule’s open, natural sound with useful forward focus and reduced rear pickup.

Its gentle directivity and mild proximity effect make it a flexible choice for spot miking, acoustic instruments, main pairs and natural stereo recording.
