The Schoeps MK 2H is an omnidirectional Colette capsule with a mild high-frequency lift that balances direct and reverberant sound at medium recording distances.

Its rounded, natural character and low self-noise make it particularly useful for orchestral recording, spaced A/B arrays and Decca Tree systems.
