Sennheiser MKH 8040 cardioid

Here's another very versatile microphone in the 8000 series from Sennheiser - the MKH 8040 cardioid.

It has the same wide frequency response as the 8050 - 30 to 50,000 Hz and the same symmetrical transducer with 2 backplates providing extremely low distortion and noise. it also has the same non reflective Nextel coating. Works very well in a Radius RAD-1 suspension.
