Need help choosing?
Choose the SF1 if you need a directional UHF antenna for a wireless microphone system, RF cart or antenna distribution setup. It is useful when you need to improve reception, compensate for coax cable loss and focus coverage toward talent, a stage or a defined shooting area.
The SF1 Directional Shark Fin Antenna is a broadband UHF receive antenna designed to improve range and reliability for professional wireless microphone systems.
It covers 470MHz–960MHz with a directional pickup pattern and 60° optimal usage angle, making it suitable for Deity THEOS systems, multi-receiver carts, theatre, corporate events, location film production and other RF-heavy environments. Adjustable active gain from -9dB to +21dB helps compensate for coaxial cable loss, while the IP54-rated design and metal mounting hardware make it practical for real production use.

Important Notes
• Active mode requires 12–16.8V DC bias from a compatible receiver or antenna distribution system.
• Use gain to compensate for calculated coaxial cable loss; excessive gain can amplify interference and ambient RF noise.
• Aim the antenna toward the desired coverage area and keep clear line-of-sight to the transmitters where possible.
• Mount antennas high, keep them away from metal objects and space antennas at least 1m apart where possible.
• Always perform a walk-around test before a recording, speech or performance to confirm coverage.
