Sony URX-P03D Dual Channel Radio Mic Kit - updated to D27 model

This is a complete 2 channel radio mic kit which includes everything you need to record two audio tracks direct to your camera or recorder.The URX-P03D 2-channel portable receiver is part of the UWP-D wireless system offering the sound quality of digital audio processing combined with the reliability of analogue FM modulation. This the K33 version with wide frequency coverage of 67 MHz bandwidth from 566 to 633MHz for legal use in UK and Europe.

UWP-D digital audio processing for high quality sound

The UWP-D Series wireless microphone systems use Sony Digital Audio Processing to improve sound quality and transient response performance compared to conventional analogue wireless systems. It provides superb transient response performance. Analogue companding systems sometimes struggle to reproduce sounds such as a bell, tee shot or handclap, but Sony Digital Audio Processing reproduces them faithfully.

Fast and easy channel scan

With its Clear Channel Scan, Active Channel Scan function and IR Sync features, the system detects unoccupied channels and selects the most appropriate channel automatically, for fast and easy system setup.

Automatic channel setting mode

The Auto Set channel mode allows the user to find and set available frequencies to use within the operating frequencies of the system. The receiver will automatically set the transmitter channel using the IR Sync feature.

USB for external power supply or charging batteries

The URX-P03D portable receiver has a micro USB terminal for connection to USB external portable power sources allowing the unit to be powered by the camcorder during use, resulting in hassle free power. You can also load NiMh batteries into the receiver to be charged through the micro USB.

Variable output level

The system provides variable output level control of ±12dB, for use with the various input levels of camcorders and DSLR cameras.

External mic input for additional wired microphone with 3 channel Mixer function

The URX-P03D 2-channel portable receiver has an external mic input connector for additional wired microphones. Sony microphones with BMP plug or plug-in power microphones (stereo/mono) are applicable by menu setting. It also has a 3 channel mixer function for the two wireless microphones and one wired microphone. It can assign output 1 or/and 2 freely.

Large display and small size receiver

This receiver is designed to fit even small camcorders or DSLR cameras, with dimensions of 63mm x 82mm x 28.4mm (W x H x D) and a weight of approx. 210 g (including batteries). The transmitters and receivers also feature a bright 11.5mm x 27.8mm display, significantly larger than previous UWP models to make them easily readable in all situations.

Headphone output for monitoring

The URX receiver has its own headphone output socket, which is particularly useful when working with a camera that does not have a headphone output.

Sony UTX-B40 Beltpack Transmitter

The kit includes two of the latest version of Sony's UWP-D beltpack transmitter the UTX-B40. It is compatible with all earlier WL-800, UWP and the current URX-P40 and URX-P03D receivers. This is the K33 version with a wide tuning bandwidth between 566 to 630MHz for legal use in the UK and Europe.
