The Stingray Junior-X is a compact X-Series mixer-recorder bag for mobile location-sound rigs, with a reinforced frame, built-in kickstand and room for recorder, wireless and power accessories.

Its 1680D polyester shell is reinforced with three water-repellent polyurethane layers, while a rigid vertical frame keeps the bag stable and leaves the sides and bottom accessible. NP-battery side pockets, a collapsible hard-front MOLLE pocket, cable pass-throughs and threaded accessory mounts make it a flexible workstation for Sound Devices 833/633/888, Zaxcom Nova/Maxx and similarly sized recorders.

Lean the Junior-X back on its permanently attached kickstand for a clearer view of recorder controls. Fold it flat against the rear of the bag when returning to shoulder, waistbelt or harness operation.

Compact Bag, Full-Sized Rigging Options

The reinforced vertical frame protects the recorder and gives the Junior-X enough structure to stand securely while leaving connection points accessible. Two solid frame mounts each provide 1/4-20 female and 3/8-16 male threads for rigging accessories.

Bottom + Side Access

Fast Access for Cabling and Battery Swaps

A large bottom trap door, zippered side panels and generous cable pass-throughs simplify battery swaps and cable changes. The hard-front collapsible MOLLE pocket and large side battery pockets keep the compact rig expandable.
