The Stingray Junior-X Purple is the limited 25th-anniversary version of K-Tek’s compact X-Series mixer-recorder bag, retaining the reinforced frame and built-in kickstand with a distinctive purple interior.

Its 1680D polyester shell is reinforced with three water-repellent polyurethane layers, while the rigid vertical frame leaves the sides and bottom accessible. NP-battery side pockets, a collapsible hard-front MOLLE pocket, cable pass-throughs and threaded accessory mounts support compact rigs based around Sound Devices 833/633/888, Zaxcom Nova/Maxx and similarly sized recorders.

Compact Bag, Full-Sized Rigging Options

The reinforced vertical frame protects the recorder and adds two solid mounting points for accessories. Each point provides a 1/4-20 female and 3/8-16 male thread for antennas, magic arms, phone/tablet holders and other production-sound hardware.

Bottom and side access keeps batteries, media and connectors reachable without dismantling the rig. The collapsible hard-front MOLLE pocket expands when extra wireless or power accessories are required.
