The Stingray Small-X Purple is the limited-edition 25th-anniversary version of the reinforced Small-X mixer-recorder bag, with the same X-Series frame and features plus a purple interior.

The third-generation X-Series design uses durable 1680D polyester with three water-repellent polyurethane layers, a reinforced vertical frame, RF-shielded adjustable centre divider and extensive cable access. A removable kickstand, two threaded accessory mounting points and generous side/front storage make it a compact but expandable bag for Sound Devices 833/888 and similar location-sound rigs.

Deploy the included kickstand to angle the bag backwards for easier screen and control access when working seated. It removes quickly and stores with the bag when you return to over-the-shoulder or harness operation.

Reinforced X-Series Frame

Mount Accessories Directly to the Bag

The strengthened vertical frame gives the mixer recorder solid protection and supports two accessory mounting points. Each mounting position provides a 1/4-20 female thread and 3/8-16 male thread for antennas, magic arms, phone/tablet holders and other production-sound accessories.

Limited Purple Interior

25th-Anniversary Purple Edition

A large bottom trap door, zippered side access panels and multiple pass-throughs provide access to mixer connectors, media and batteries without stripping down the bag. Large side pockets accommodate NP-style batteries and other power accessories.
