The Bubblebee Microphone Foam for Pencil Mics provides basic wind, breath and handling protection for pencil and small-diaphragm condenser microphones. Made from acoustically transparent open-cell foam, it helps reduce plosives and light air movement while preserving the microphone’s natural sound.

Available in M and XL sizes, these foam windscreens are designed for popular pencil condenser microphones from brands including DPA, Schoeps, Neumann, Sennheiser, Audio-Technica, RØDE and Sony. They are ideal for studio recording, orchestral work, acoustic instruments, ambient capture and light outdoor use.

Choosing your type

Choose M for smaller pencil microphones and XL for larger pencil microphones or setups that need a bigger foam windscreen. Foam is best for studio use, plosive reduction and light wind protection. For stronger outdoor wind, choose a fur windshield or a full wind protection system instead.
